Latest member here and learning a lot for my new project. A ’67 Pontiac GTO Convertible. She needs complete restoration and will be going with a Pro Touring theme for better drive-ability. I’ve been picking up some needed tools and supplies from Eastwood and so far love their quality and prices. I thought I had a good tool assortment with my upholstery business that I’ve had for over 40 years but find out that my tools don’t apply to body work sooooo…….. I want to do as much as I can myself for the satisfaction and savings. Around here (No. CA in the Sierra foothills) theirs not much to choose from as far as good body shops so I’ll do the body work and let them just paint it when I’m ready. I do want to replace the frame first and have a line on one now as there is some rust damage there too. Not too bad as far as the body itself other than the usual floor pan holes and all that is easy to get new. I’ll try to keep you all informed as the progress continues.
