I have a barbecue grill that has cast iron burners. the burners get very rusty and need to be replaced about every two years. Now some of the other burner parts are also rusty and need replacing..

here is what I would like to do. coat the new replacement parts in something so they will last longer… none of the parts will contact the food. it just burners and gas tubes to light the burners.

something I could pour into the burners and coat the inside might be helpfull..

also needs to withstand high heat.. my guess would be at least 600 degrees maybe more.

please help I love this grill and dont want to have to replace it.

    thanks John
