I have some questions on your single stage paints and can’t seem to get to the tech department by phone or email. I am looking at a deep red metallic and like some of your colors.

    My questions are:

    1. Can the single stage metallics be cut and buffed? If so what is the best way, or grits/compounds, to use so I don’t destroy the paint.

    2. Is there clear coat mixed into the single stages?

    3. what primers can I use? I will have some body filler, bare metal, and old paint that will be sanded smooth. I want a primer I can sand down a little bit to really smooth things out.

    4. Can I clear coat the paint later on if I feel it needs it? If so do I just scuff and spray?

I need fast help as I want to order today!
