Obviously, fuel tank paint needs to be fuel proof. Would the 2K Aero-Spray products work for me? If so, it seems primer, base color, and clear all available in this product. The original tank was black with gold stickers for the logo as well as a pin stripe. I’d like to eliminate the stickers and paint them on and clear coat over. My plan is to prime, spray gold where the graphics are located, apply a negative mask, paint black, remove mask, and finally clear coat everything. I’m assuming chassis black would be a good choice for a base, but what can I safely use for the gold without having compatibility issues?
