I hope you won’t get tired of my questions, but the only way a dummy like me gets edumacated is to ask.

First off… Can you put metalflake in your powder coat process? If so, can you give me quick rundown as to how to do?

I don’t know what basic metal flake is made of, but I know that in the past crushed Mica has been used. Mica seems to be the way to go because of the high temps that mica can withstand (I think Mica can withstand heat up to 1200 degrees). Am I on the right track?

I have some front forks for my granddaughters bicycle that have had extensions put on them. During the final sanding process a small amount of bondo was used as a skim coat. Can this be powder coated?

    Thanks once again!!!
