Hi, I’ve been using my mig 175 for quite sometime now and it has worked great until a month or so ago. It has started to have wire feed issues. The feed tube doesn’t seem to have any kinks and the wire is clean. I’ve also blown air through the feed tube to make sure it was clear. I’ve always been careful with the trigger and hose and the welder has always been on a welder cart.
I’m currently using .23 wire as I’m doing a lot of sheet metal work. I’m also running .23 tip and I’ve tried running a bigger .30 tip but that doesn’t prevent the jamming. Most of the time if I shake the trigger assembly the wire pops out. Other times I find that the wire has welded to the tip and I have to cut it off and replace it.
I have also tried using anti-spatter gel on the tip but that hasn’t helped either.
Seems like the wire jams and then welds to the tip for some reason.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Matt
