Okay I’ve been pc’ing my metal art for almost a year now. I built a 6’x6’x6′ oven and powered it with a diesel fired heater all works well.
I have used eastwood powders as well as others and prefer eastwoods.
I have a container of Columbia Coatings pearl black and the instructions say to 20-25 min @ 385-400 degrees. Is there no flow out? Such as 10min.@425
My other ? is can I heat parts faster by increasing my heat above recomended temps as long as the part temp does not go over? example would be put part in oven heat oven to 550 degrees to get part up to temp faster then lower oven temp once part has reached the right temp?
