I’m working on a 55 f100, and I’ve done most of obvious the metal replacement (corners, floor sections, etc.). I will also be trying my first ever chop on the top…
My plan is to complete the major metal work and then have the cab/doors, etc. media blasted and then epoxy primed immediately after. I do plan on leading some body seams and some other areas with the eastwood lead free solder, so my question is should I do the lead work before the media blast (worried it might be effected by the blast process) or do I do it post blast/primer? If I do it after blast/primer, do I need to worry about the tinning solution or subsequent clean off hurting/contaminating the epoxy primer?
thanks in advance folks, all help is appreciated!
