Working at a large shop that does powder coating 18 hours a day I get to see a lot of interesting things go through. This project I helped with from the design phase with the engineers to the finishing stage. It is a large recycling drum for separating different sizes of glass. One of the largest completely powder coated machines I have seen. It was shipped from where it was made in Iowa all the way to New Jersey in one piece. They do use an ITW Gema powder gun if you were wondering. And they have a dedicated powder booth that is about 15′ X 20′ and an oven about 25′ X 40′. Take a look at the pics below.
