Hi All, I just finished building my oven and am now ready to pull my powder-coater out of it’s box.

I was wondering if anyone out there had any ‘life lessons’ that they learned the hard way that they would like to share so that I can avoid the same mistakes.

I also have a couple of questions:
    1) how important is preheating the oven? The inner dimensions of my oven are approx 18″ x 30″ x 42″ and it has 4 elements. When empty, it reaches 350 degrees in under 5 minutes.

    2) any advice for mixing powders? Is it possible?

    3) how do you know when it has ‘flowed-out’?

    4) the recommended cure time is approx 20 minutes, but what happens if you leave it in for 25 or 30 minutes?

Got lots more questions, but they can wait until after all the testing this weekend!

    Thanks,
    Chris
