I’m planning on having the exterior of my car painted by a professional, but plan to do the engine compartment, cockpit, and underside myself. My reason for doing this is so I can bring the painter a rolling chassis to paint with my restored suspension, steering, etc attached. The paint I will be using is the type with Isocyanate chemicals. I have purchased a paint suit, hood, and Hobbyair freshair system from Eastwood. How should I set up my garage for the paint job, including venting, positioning of fresh air intake, protection from dust? Appreciate all suggestions.
