    Hi,

I am looking for some advice…..my 82 Fiat Spider was just repainted with red base and clear……I am happy with the body work and was able to observe the job every step of the way…..the car has been buffed but not reassembled……the problem is that I see some shadowing thru the red paint in some areas (faintly darker areas where it looks like not enough paint was applied)…..a dark sealer was used before the base……the shadowing is mostly in the lower areas of the panels – the upper areas, hood and trunk look good……the guy who did the work will re-do if I ask him to….if we make sure we don’t go thru the clear is is it ok to simply block with 600 or 800 and then apply base and clear again?….I have tried to attach photo – see lower portion of panels. Sincerely, Lost in the Dakotas, Rita
