What is used for the hood skin to underhood bracing adhesive? It’s the “blobs” that the factory used to attach/brace the frame to the hood skin.
The hood is for a 69 Plymouth, and all the factory stuff has separated and hardened, with most of it missing.
I would think that an epoxy would be too hard, and silicone would be too soft. One thing for certain is that without it the hood skin flexes with every bump.
Does anyone make a replacement for the stock stuff? If not, what can you suggest to use.
