So i have this plaque that has some text etched into the metal, After I coated it you can still see the text but I want it to really stand out. Taping is out of the question because the etch is so tiny. Is there any kind of gel, or compound material that i can use to cover the ecthed text after applying the first coat, so i can throw a 2nd coat a different color, cure it and then some magical way remove the gel or what not to show the two tone and have the text stand out. The etched text is not very deep. I want to have the text like in a silver or white and then the main part in matte black. Any help or techniques would be appreciated.
happy coating to everyone.
