Spindle and I have done two Halloween decorations. One smoke chrome with a super gloss clear coat, and the other with a gloss black(the one that comes with the EW hobby kit) and super gloss clear coat. Both seemed to turn out good, but our question is: The clear shouldn’t be compromising the reflection of the powder should it? When we did the black, it already had some great reflection. But when we cured the clear it seemed to dull it out. On the middle of the decoration is where our lamp wasn’t directly heating the powder and that’s where it actually looks best. Spindle will put some pictures up hopefully tonight or tomorrow and maybe you’ll see what I mean. Could our curing temperature have been too hot?
