Getting an Intake Ready for Powder

    Actually it’s more than an intake. But how much care do you guys take with an intake when blasting it getting it ready for powder. I have an LC1 intake manifold that’s been on the car for 23 years. It’s nasty and it’s going to need some serious time in the blast cabinet. Do you mask off the sealing surfaces and injector bosses to keep the blaster from etching them.
