Greetings — I’m trying to slow down the rust on my ’99 F150. The undercarriage is galvanized, but there are rust spots in a variety of places, presumably because the galvanizing is kaput there.

What’s the best way to proceed? I know Rust Converter needs rust to work, so any overspray would need to be cleaned off of remaining galvanizing. Maybe Fast Etch on the rusty spots, followed by Zinc-Rich Galvanize? The more product descriptions I read, the more confused I get.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Mark
