Customers original 1947 Beetle Fuel Tank. We had the tank dipped and cleaned and then used the Eastood Kit to prep and treat per directions. About a year later several large pieces of the treatment material flaked off and more rust started.
How do we remove the treatment to recoat, or do we need to? Can it be metal dipped again and then retreated with the Eastwood stuff? Is there a better fix? (We normally only work with racing fuel cells. This rusty metal stuff stinks. 🙂 )
Thanks
