I am restoring a 51 Ford coupe. The body is now off…I’ ready to clean up the frame. It is covered in surface rust. (no pitting, no pinholes) This won’t be a show car, only a cleaned up driver.
My idea…”light” sandblast and treat with “Full Chassis Resto Kit- 10072ZBLK” I can spray with a gun, but would prefer doing areas one at a time with a rattle can or a brush. Are there advantages of one method over another?
Do I use “12559ZP Rust Converter” first? It’s not included in the “kits”.
Is the kit 11962ZP (Extreme product) more durable (superior) for the 30% higher price? Thanks for your advice. Dave
