I’m cleaning up the rear of the frame (cab rearward) on my Peterbilt tractor and need some advice on which paint to use.
The frame rails will be sand blasted and the running gear will be as clean as I can get it. I don’t really need a “show” finish but I do want it to look good and be shiny. Keep in mind, the frame sees 100k miles a year and pressure washing.
Are any Eastwood products compatable with locally available primer (Dupont)?
What are the temperature requirements of the metal and ambiant temp? I’m doing this in my shop and will try to make a “booth” with 4 mil plastic just in the area of the painting.

    Thanks in advance, K. Lee
