What’s the best way to prevent flash rust? I’ve used Oxi-solve, & it works great. When I rinse it off, the sheet metal starts to flash rust within seconds. It is clearly visible after I get back from just turning the water hose off. I’ve used metal wash before to rinse the Oxi-solve off, which does prevent flash rust, but it leaves a hard white substance on the edges that is nearly impossible to get off without the use of a grinder or sander. Since the Oxi-solve has to be rinsed off, there has to be a way to prevent the flash rust. What method do you recommend?
