I am attempting my first ever restoration project. I have a `87 Ducati Indiana motorcycyle with some of the aluminum pieces being chromed form the factory. This bike was from the north and sat outside, and yes the chrome wasn’t very good even when it was new, so the chrome has flaked off and the aluminum has started oxidising. My question is this, after the aluminum is cleaned of all the corrosion, what kind of results would I get out of powder coating the previously chromed parts with your 10285 reflective chrome coat (ie would it look very similar to chrome)? Would you use a chemicle to remove the remainder of the chrome or would bead blast it? Any recomendations? Thanks Josh
