I love Extreme Chassis Black…it’s really hard and durable…if it ever dries. Most of the time when I use it, it takes forever to dry to the point that it’s not sticky at all. I recently painted a battery clamp and even after 2 weeks it’s slightly sticky. I sandblast the parts first, then use Extreme Chassis Black Primer. I let it cure for about 30 – 45 minutes as directed on the can, then top coat with the Extreme Chassis Black…usually 1 or 2 light coats followed by a heavier coat, I’m using rattle cans. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? I’ve even tried letting the parts sit in the sun for a while to see if that would help, but that seems to make it worse.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rich
