Restoring a 1974 Moto Guzzi Eldorado. Painting the frame with Extreme Chassis Black primer and Gloss. Painted the frame and it worked pretty well. I had a few spots I wanted to touch up, so I lightly sanded with 320 grit and sprayed the spots with Extreme Chassis Black Gloss from a rattle can. Worked well.
Tried to do the same thing with the swing arm, went to touch up from the rattle can, and the paint started to blister. How do I fix. Can I re-sand the blister out and put another coat of gloss on?
Does the paint in the rattle can version work exactly the same as that in the quart can that I use in the spray gun? Can they be used together?
Also, how do you have to wait before respraying Extreme Chassis Black? Does sanding work if you have a problem between coats?
