I’m getting ready to detail my small block chevy engine.
The original paint on the block is peeling off, and the block is rusty. I want to put it back in your Chevy orange engine paint (from the spray can), so my question is how to properly prepair the block before painting?
I can use a wire brush to remove the loose paint, but what is the best way to remove oil residue on the block? Do I need to use some sort of primer?
Obviously, I would like the paint to hold up as well, and for as long as possible. Any advise you can give would be appreciated.
