You probably hear about guys making stupid mistakes alot, Here’s another one.
I painted my engine yesterday with Eastwood’s High Temp Ceramic Engine Paint. I didn’t order the Urethane Activator, thinking that it would do the same thing , I used PPG Epoxy Primer Catalist (dp402lf) and Autobody Master (8860) Urethane Reducer.
The motor looks beautiful, but after 18 hours and 4th of July sunshine, the paint is still tacky. Does time heal all or do I need to strip it and start over? Thanks!
