I am sure I already know the answer to this, but figued I would ask anyways.
I am doing all my bodywork slowly but surely and living in Houston if I let bare metal sit for more than a day its covered in surface rust. So I have been trying to take a small section finish it that day an paint it with Eastwoods spray paint primer.
So my ? is this, is it a bad idea to use that as a base coat primer? I will be using either ppg or HK for the top coats.
If it’s not a good idea as I am guessing. Are there any better ways than basically spending an extra probably hour ever day mixing and cleaning up what would probably be equal to less than a cup of primer.
