I have had the 175 amp mig welder for about a year and have had no problems up to this point. This morning when welding the trigger started working sporadically to where whenever I had it over the material ready to weld and pulled the trigger nothing would happen, then would I would pull it back off of the material and pull the trigger it would feed wire and gas, then put it back down and nothing would happen. I checked the circuit breaker button on the back of the machine and it was out about 1/8″-1/4″, but I couldn’t remember if that was the tripped position or not but I assume not since when I pushed it nothing happened. I let the machine cool for over an hour in case it was tripped and then checked it again and it arced one time then had the same issues. Any suggestions?
