I recently purchased an Eastwood 135 mig welder. I never was happy with the wire feed. It never fed consistantly though I tried and tried to adjust the roller tension and the spool tension. After carefully looking at the roller and the wire, through a magnifying glass, I discovered that the wire wasn’t fully seated in the groove in the roller. So I loosened the set screw in the roller and moved it ever so slightly until the wire seated in the groove and retightened the set screw. So keep this in mind if for any reason you remove the drive roller. Wire feeds great now.
