I have a new gun which has a grounding wire on the control box. I have issues now getting the parts nicely grounded.
I used to out the earthing-clip of my Eastwood-gun on the part being coated, this worked fine. When I do the same now, the powder doesn’t stick.
Of course I asked the seller, but my technical English is somewhat rusty, so I think I know what he means by now, but I check it here. What I understand is that the grounding clip on the control-box is for grounding the control-box! So not to be used to ground the part. (I don’t know why it isn’t being grounded using the wall-socked earth then…)
So can I put this clip on an earth-wire from my wall-socket and also connect the part being coated to the earth-wire to get it working well? Or connect them both to an earth-pin I can install near my shop?
*hope I wrote this down in a some understandable english*
