Drip Rail Replacment Method

    We have reprodution drip rails for my 1940 Ford business coupe…the instructions say to use body epoxy and glue the rails in place, so we’ve ordered a 3M product. A experienced local Chey restorer says the Ford bodies flex too much so it needs to be welded to prevent cracking. Which method do you recommend?
