Here’s a tip for removing rust in the hard-to-get-to areas of doors.

I was working on a set of doors for my 1962 VW this past weekend, and I noticed that there was surface rust on the inside bottom edges of the doors. To remove this rust, I took a piece of rain gutter and capped the ends. Next, I sat the doors in the rain gutter and filled the doors and gutter with OxiSolv. This did an excellent job of removing the rust. After the doors were done soaking in the the OxiSolv, I took a disposable paint strainer and strained the OxiSolv and put it back into its original container (OxiSolv is reusable). Now I don’t have to worry about the surface rust that was hiding inside of the doors. 😎
