I own a ’73 Opel Manta A that needs the driver’s door hinge pins replaced. I purchased new replacement pins (original nos Opel part) along with Eastwoods removal tool. My problem is that the tool doesn’t work on my hinges. The old “pins” are actually hollow sleeves that fit in the hinges. The Eastwood tool requires that the pins be “solid” in order for the tool to remove them. Does Eastwood have a tool for removing this type of hinge “pin” or does someone have a better idea on how to remove them?
Thanks ahead of time!
