I have a 68 Camaro that I am restoring. The car was painted about thirty years ago. I had new fenders and new quarter panels put on at that time. The paint has not peeled or cracked to this day. The question is since I want to repaint the car is it worth the time and effort for me to sand the car to bare metal and prime. Will a body shop re do it anyway not relying on someone else’s work.
