I guess you’d call them dimples, they look like little holes in the powder coat. I am working on a GTO and shooting the air cleaner and the valve covers. They both are chrome plated steel, with a lot of surface rust. I cleaned them in a media blaster(using alum. oxide) washed down with simple green and then clean water. Then before I shot them I used the spray can of pre, and blew dry with compressed air. And I got the little bumps everywhere. I’m thinking maybe outgassing, but it’s not aluminum. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Ed :confused: :confused:
