Here’s an interesting question. Been around the block many a time for many a project but somewhat of a newbie to powdercoating. Recently bought some Easwood Machine Grey, wasn’t quite dark enough so I added some Eastwood High Gloss Black in a 2:1 ratio. Shook myself and the powder silly, applied and baked. I plan on using the color because I love it, athough it came out a little blotchy. Darker in some places than in others even though the thickness of the application seems uniform thoughout. Is it possible to mix colors without the blotchiness or do I need to use the Eastwood “tint” powder to avoid this?
