I am restoring a 1957 chevy Belair and I am ready for paint. What is the proper order and procedure for a complete paint job. I need to paint the hood and trunk top and bottom, the door jambs and doors inside and out. Should I do the final block sanding and then remove doors and hood and trunk to paint the insides and door jambs and then replace them for final primer and paint, or wait to block sand until after the jambs, under trunk and hood are painted. Should I paint the hood, trunk and doors off the car completely or is it better to paint the car with these parts installed for good. I will be using a single stage urethane red paint with some mettalic in it and a final clear coat for better depth and protection. Thanks, Gary
