Hello,
Im “hotrodding” an old Porsche 911. I painted it a few months back w/ a single stage (dupont chromaone system). Im FINALLY getting around to color sanding it and Im finding a bit more orangepeel than I remembered (and at least one panel I need to respray). Its going to take forever sanding by hand. So:
Can I use a good DA sander to colorsand?
I can buy the nice IR-4152 or something, but I can’t seem to find the 600-2000 grit discs for it. Makes me think the answer is no. Or, would I be able to buff enough of it out w/ a polisher and a more aggressive compound?
Thanks!
SMD
