I just sprayed half of my doors on driver side of my 2006 ford f150.base coat , clear coat .
I had the paint shop fill two cans of basecoat. I sprayed the doors and waited four days to let clear coat to cure.
I sanded the clear coat with 2000 grit wet/dry . I buffed the clear coat with meguirs ultra cut compound and finished up with finish polish. took it out side now it has a gray haze thru the clear coat. it is smooth , but did I buff it enough or did I sand it through clear coat. was 2000 grit to heavy . I thought 2000 was light enough. I buffed one time and it looked good but when it went outside and from 10 feet it looks gray and not even close to match.
any suggestions. should i respray.
