I’ve got some aluminum parts I’ve polished up with a nice shine, I’d like the powder clear them to help protect the aluminum as they will be exposed to the elements and road grime. How do I make sure I’ve got all the polish off the parts before coating them? Can I just wipe them off with a clean rag and the pre-bake the parts at a slightly higher temp and a little longer then the cure cycle of the powder to make sure no outgassing occurs when I bake the parts with the clear on them?
