    OK, interesting issue.

    I’m shooting clear over bare copper. Did a couple of test pieces and the clear stuck and flowed out nicely, but the color changed.

    The finished piece looks like bright brass. You know, that light golden brassy color, not the new-penny copper color.

    I shot a second one, but before I baked it I rubbed off a tiny spot and where the powder was rubbed off the copper stayed the copper color. The rest turned light brass like the first test piece.

    I’m using the EW Full Gloss Clear.

    I’d like my copper to be coated, but stay copper colored. Any advice is appreciated.
