Question on low temp clear. I’m doing a derby cover for a friends custom Harley, it’s 5 colors with a clear top coat. Everything went better than expected until I shot the clear, I’m using the low temp clear from E/W. Did an alchohol rub as a final clean, pre heated to 170 degrees then shot the clear. final coat looked like it went on nice and even. Oven pre heated to 340 as per instructions, started time after cover reached temp. Came out of oven with blotches of orange peel. What did I do wrong and is there a fix without stripping and starting over. I’ve got over ten hours in just the layout work and it’s all use once and throw away.
