Not sure if this is a paint question, but I have some nice 30 year old wheels on my Capri. They are in great shape, but the clear coat on the ploished lip could have a little more shine.
I would rather not strip them and recoat. Is there a good way to get some of the original luster back? I have tried regular waxes and polishes by hand and they don’t seem to be able to do it.
Also If I was going to repolish and recoat, what is the best method to remove the old clear and what is recommended to reclear them that will be durable and shiny?
