I traded an old CB for a Century buzz box. I have used a nice Miller gas sheilded unit for my work and am relatively decent. This buzzbox has me wondering if it is working right (or maybe i’m not). Is the trigger only to feed the wire and the current runs all the time? On the Miller (my brothers 🙁 ) the current and wire feed are adj. at the main box and you activate them with the trigger. This looks like you can only adj. the feed speed. If this is true, then how do you start a bead with this thing? Everytime I try it just pops and take a chunk of wire with it and no weld is made. It is really annoying and I am glad my bro has left his welder at my dads shop. Any input is appreciated.
