I am in the process of redoing my 50 Ford F-1 which includes the replacing of the brake lines and plumbing new trans cooling and fuel lines. The brake lines I did with my old but trusted Ridgid flaring tool. It seems that I forget how to use it correctly since the last time I used it (about 20 years ago) and made a mess out of it. Could it be that older you get the more you forget? I finally got them made after many attempts. What I needed was a tool that was idiot proof.
I then ordered another flaring tool that advertized that it was easy to use and the cost were more in line with my budget, but the flares were not always consistent. So I ordered your flaring tool # 25304 (the cost was holding me back) and made my trans and fuel lines with no leaks on the first try. Your tool worked just as you advertized it would. Easy to use and consistent flares each time. Just knowing that making any flared lines will not be a problem is worth all the money it cost. Thank you Mike.
