I am thinking about buying my first classic car. Became hesitant today when the seller of the car informed me that 7 years ago he stripped the car and repainted it but there were creases in the doors that he filled in with bondo. Says that without a magnet you can’t tell that the car has bondo. If the job was done properly and the car kept in dry conditions how long would a good bondo job last? Should I avoid buying such a car if I don’t want to deal with a bondo problem down the road?
