I read that a restorator used bodyfiller to fill pitts in his frame and then powder coated it.. What type of bodyfiller will withstand 400 degrees when curing the powder? He also said that he sanded each coat (3) and applied one on top of the other..Is this common pratice? I guess he would have to buff the sanded powder to get is shine when he was done. So, I guess what I’m trying to find out does body filler withstand the curing temp and is it necessary to apply 3 coats to get a slick finish? Do you sell bodyfiller for this type of application?

    Thanks,
    Danny
