I have a couple of cars I am restoring. I don’t have a lot of experience with the finishing body work and paint prep, but know the general process. My 86 Nissan 720 4X4 I thought was going to be quick and easy…yea right. There was no rust on it, but it is beat up pretty bad. There is a lot of body imperfection on it, no big dents, just little picks, dings and werbles. Is there a particular body filler they use for that besides Bondo? I’m all about putting the time in on it, but it doesn’t seem that the rock hard bondo is the way to go. Do those guys use something softer, or is it about all the same? I had someone tell me to use a different hardener that sets softer, but I just don’t know. Any advice I can get on how to do this would be great…thanks in advance!!
