I am looking for a flat black powder to use on some engine parts.
Eastwood has “Hot Coat Hot Rod Black Texture”, “Hot Coat Flat Black Powder” epoxy (avoid UV), “Hotcoat Powder Black Wrinkle”.
the hot rod black sounds cool but I haven’t seen it applied. Is it a flat? Would the texture hold dirt and oil ?
I Like the flat black but the UV exposure may be a problem with the vents on the decklid leaving it exposed.
The Black wrinkle looks cool but I don’t know if that surface is prone to holding oil and dirt, thus making it a pain to clean. Any experiences with this?
