I have a 60 chevy full of trim top to bottom, some is stainless but most is anodized aluminum. I have everything i need to restore this trim to its original quality except I dont know how to get the anodize off, i know i can sand it but that is nearly impossible in some of the curves and edges of this trim.
Does anyone know of any successful ways of getting the anodize off of the trim without damaging the aluminum itself? After that i can sand and buff it, and also any tips on what to use to seal it up from oxidation after buffing? I heard that wax doesnt work but clear coat might,
Thanks in advance for any help!
